I have a confession: I’m a sucker for buying iPhone games and not finishing them. In fact, I’m a sucker for buying all kinds of games and not finishing them, too. I can count the number of games I’ve actually completed from beginning to end on one hand, and they are:
Warcraft II - PC
One of the Warcraft III campaigns – PC
Guild Wars - Prophecies – PC
Sally’s Spa - iPhone
The Oregon Trail – iPhone
And…yup, I think that’s it. Darn.
It isn’t just games – I tend to start and not finish a lot of things. It’s like a new, better idea or thing to do always comes along, so I jump from one thing to another. A few months ago I pledged to finish Diablo I and II before the Diablo III release. Yeah…not gonna happen.
It’s not like I’m proud of not finishing things. But it DOES mean that I get to try out tons of different games, ideas, and just things.
So my next goal for a game to finally go through from beginning to end in the storyline? Guild Wars 2. I’ve been waiting for this thing for two years – come out already!
