N G.E… Dont get me started!!!!! NEVER AGAIN.. I would rather not have a car, or drive something i can afford to buy outright; n not splurged on well deserved trip to hawaii n a few kinda essential things.. some jimmy choos!! that at the price i got them i would b an idiot NOT hav bought them!!! but i give everything else i brought bak, (but still mourn their loss!!) to G.E n they can hav back their bill, intrest and never throw it at me again, its wrong suck u in then slam u with massive bills.. no wonder the rich get richer, they r ripping the rest of us off!

im sorry that u were screwed by voda, but it makes me feel betta that im not the only one! im goin to change to telstra asap vodafone is a JOKE!! my cap! huh! i hav 49 month plan n my first bill was capped at 49, but hav never since in the last 18 months ive been with these clowns, my internet connection is a joke.. seriously would rather b using DIAL UP again! well maybe not, but is soooo slow, easily gets confused. i had iphone 3gs n then upgraded to iphone 4 approx 8 mths ago coz i thought it was the phone, i had tried everything to fix, not even the chinese guy i take phones to could speed up internet, n he is a magician with iphones. but now have concluded that VODAFONE IS CRAAAAPYYYYY!! Not worth the headache their cust service is stupid because they do NOT hav ANY CLUE! i really think their call centres r in india i get one almost everytime, n they all hav diff ‘ideas’ (key word! dont need to worry bout silly things like TRAINING!) on wat will fix the problem u hav with their worldwide joke of a phone company. Seriously i think i could get a better soloution from the worms in my jack russells butt! Oh yea..by the way, if u were wonderin.. I CANT STAND VODAFONE!

Personally, I am quite on the fence regarding the use of a crowdsourcing site for a logo design. It is still a touchy issue for most designers who said that crowdsourcing is a no-no for obtaining a logo design. I have tried crowdsourcing before and I know the risks involved but it comes within the territory. But there are other no-frills logo design websites online such as http://www.logobee.com, http://www.logodesignstation.com, logoyes.com, etc. which are actually great in getting a professional logo design at a fraction of the price and minus the risks of crowdsourcing (plagiarism is one of them). Seeing that there are no consultation services, the price is significantly lower than that of conventional design firms. For instance, I have tried http://www.logodesignstation.com and the experience was indeed a positive one. I managed to get my business logo design at an affordable price and the turnaround time was great as well. Highly recommended. Although crowdsourcing for logo designs could be a bane for some, many find it to be a viable alternative to get a fast logo on the cheap. It all depends on the individual actually.

Thanks for this post. Sometimes I wonder whether Google even hates grey hat or black hat SEO.

I think a lot of people are always going to see SEO as a way of manipulating the search engines and part of it will always be about that. Then part of it will be about being awesome and allowing Google to figure out that you are awesome.

I guess SEO professionals and business owners need to decide which aspect to pursue.

From my experience with SEO SEO Powersuite is a good pack of software and helped me rank better.
Even the free tools are allow you to DO a lot, but can’t save your work…what a pity.

Thanks for your comment, Tony. You’re right, there are some great extensions for Firefox (as well as Google Chrome) that can be very useful for SEO professionals and I use quite a few of them. I might write another post about a few of the extensions I use on a regular basis later on down the line.

This is an excellent summary of the main areas that you need to concentrate on for SEO.

One thing I would suggest in the free department is to start using Firefox and the SEO for Firefox and the Webdeveloper extensions. I have no association with them, but I have found that using the plugin gets you into good habits.

SEO for Firefox gives you a lot of link and related marketing data while browsing search results. Webdeveloper lets you look at a page from a search engine’s point of view.
